Here, an outfit I wore to grab coffee and catch up with a friend. I love maxi dresses, and my collection of them may soon require their own rack in my closet. They are no-fuss, guaranteed to look good, and comfortable. This lovely aztec dress from Bluetique has just the right combo of trendy and timelessness, with a simple strapless silhouette and a unique cut-out back. Bluetique is a relatively new, local boutique (only 2 minutes from my apartment!) that offers an array of adorable dresses, tops, jeans, statement jewelry, classic clutches and more. They have a few other locations, as well as an online store so be sure to check them out! Living so close, I can’t help but pop in on my walk home. Even if I was already in there a few hours before…
The wonderful thing about maxis is how versatile and transitional they are. This is something I could wear to class, to brunch, out to dinner, to work, even to an evening soiree!
